a) assess the chemical, physical and biological risks associated with a variety of hazardous wastes,
b) evaluate UK and EU legislation concerned with hazardous waste collection, transport,
c) determine the appropriate technique for the treatment of a given type of hazardous waste,
e) articulate and evaluate alternative strategies for solving a problem,
g) distinguish facts from values, evidence from opinion and reason logically,
